Mexico City International Airport (AICM) alerted its users that due to the presence of the hurricane “Helene” on the coasts of the Mexican Caribbean and the tropical storm “John” on the coasts of Guerrero it is likely that the operations takeoff and landing in those areas are affected.
In a message on its “X” account, the capital’s air terminal indicated reports from airlines that operate flights to or from cities located in the Caribbean and in Guerrero, in which they report impacts on their operations.

Due to the weather conditions, the AICM recommends all users of its facilities to remain attentive to the instructions of the civil protection authorities of those regions and the notices of the airlines with which they have purchased tickets.
“Due to the presence of #Hurricane #Helene in the Caribbean of Mexico, and #TropicalStorm #John off the coast of #Guerrero, and based on reports from airlines that operate flights to or from cities located in those entities , it is likely that takeoff and landing operations to and from cities located in that region of the country will be affected in their itineraries. We recommend that all people remain attentive to the instructions of the civil protection authorities and the notices of their airlines. For AICM and the airlines, the safety of people and operations is paramount.”
