Alexander Vezenkov will be the basketball player with the highest salary in the Euroleague this season. The calculations are on the specialized site Eurohoops.
The former MVP in the continent’s No. 1 club tournament will take home $4.1 million. The amount is approximate, as the authors of the ranking have taken into account the mandatory taxes and the fact that there is no salary cap in the Euroleague. Vezenkov returned to Olympiakos after playing sparingly with Sacramento in the National Basketball Association and did not want to start the new season with Toronto.
