Competitions for the second round of the Professional Stars League for the current season (2024-2025) will be completed today, Saturday, with two matches being held in Baghdad and Maysan.
The correspondent stated, “Maysan Stadium will host a match between Maysan Oil and Basra Oil at 5:30 p.m..”
He added, “The second match will bring together the Al-Talaba team with its counterpart, Al-Hudood, which will be held at the Medina International Stadium at eight o’clock in the evening.”
It is noteworthy that the second round competitions began last Thursday, and its matches resulted in Al-Shorta’s victory over Diyala with a six-point victory, Al-Zawraa’s victory over Al-Karkh by two goals to one, Al-Naft’s victory over Al-Karma by two clean goals, Newroz tied with Zakho with one goal each, Al-Jawiya’s victory over Al-Mina’a by two goals to one, and Al-Qasim’s draw with Al-Kahraba. Without goals, Erbil won over Dohuk with an unanswered goal, and Karbala and Najaf tied with one goal each.
