Evasions. From outside as history is the most visible and unknown collection of graffiti, curated by Jaume Gómez, Juan Antonio HR and Keko Martínez members of QUESTION (Spanish Association for the Research and Development of Graffiti and Urbanism).
The collective exhibition brings together unpublished works by renowned artists of the city and contemporary art Sebastian Velasco, Appeared e Irene Luna, Jean Philippe Illanes, The Ripoulain brothers (David Renault and Mathieu Tremblin), Maz y Riaq Miuq, Sonya Ben, Vandals On Vacation, FMF y Yoni.
The exhibition seeks to give the visitor a creative and predictable hold, moving away from the contemporary powers of government through the power of media and social networks. Through urban art and graffiti, tensions are explored within artistic freedom and its integration into mass culture, ranging from hypercommercialization to interaction with new technologies, integration of the first or make up your mindall actions that are deeply connected to the expansion of civil society and opposition.
The street becomes a unique space of representation, participation and social construction, where natural facts and stories are expressed that define its beauty, function and cultural relevance.
