The Israeli army officially announced the assassination of the party’s Secretary-General, Hassan Nasrallah, and army spokesman Avichay Adraee said in a statement on Saturday that “the raids led to the killing of Nasrallah.”

He added that “Ali Karki,” the leader of the party’s southern front, and a number of other leaders were killed with him.”

For his part, the Israeli Chief of Staff stressed that the liquidation of Nasrallah is not the end of the capabilities and means available to Israel. He also added that the Israeli message is simple: “To everyone who threatens the citizens of Israel, we will know how to reach you.”

For its part, Hezbollah has not yet officially commented on this allegation.

Hezbollah had confirmed, “There is no truth to any statement or statement that occurred regarding the Zionist terrorist attack on the Haret Hreik area in the southern suburb, and anything is published exclusively by media relations.”

The Hezbollah media relations official indicated to Iranian television that “the Secretary-General is fine and well and was not in the targeted location.”

The Iranian Tasnim Agency also reported, citing security sources, that “Hezbollah Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah is in a safe place and what the Israeli media is reporting about his death is not true.”

This comes after violent Israeli raids yesterday (Friday) targeted the party’s leadership headquarters in the southern suburb of Beirut. Israeli media confirmed that the target of the raids was “Hassan Nasrallah.”
