Carven shows in the apartment where Madame Carven worked, on the Champs-Élysées, which has remained almost untouched since the 1940s. Within these walls that watched the designer create her models and which today house the atelier and showroom of the maison, Louise Trottercurrent artistic director, offers an inspired collection with a more personal touch. The volumes are empirical, they require movement, empathy. The principles of communicating vessels apply to essential silhouettes, with an open dialogue between dressed and undressed. The romantic energy of a top is transmitted to a skirt rolled at the waist, the thin lingerie-style straps waveringly support a silk tablier dress. Fascinating petticoats allow themselves visibility behind capes and dresses placed over them almost by chance. An in and out wardrobe where you can breathe lightness.
