The death toll caused by Hurricane Helene in the south-east of the United States has risen to 64. The authorities communicated this.

According to local media, millions of people are without electricity and many others have lost their homes. Helene particularly affected Florida, South Carolina and North Carolina, Georgia and Virginia. The phenomenon manifested itself last Thursday as a category 4 hurricane with heavy rain and winds that reached 225 kilometers per hour.
