Two directors of Walton Hi-Tech Industries Plc, a company listed in the engineering sector in the capital market, have expressed interest in transferring shares as previously announced. They are Director SM Manjurul Alam Abhi and Entrepreneurial Director SM Mahbubul Alam.
On Sunday (September 29), this information was revealed by Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE).
According to sources, the director of Walton Hi-Tech Industries SM Manjurul Alam Abhi has expressed his interest in transferring 1 crore 2 million shares. Out of this, he will hand over 68 lakh 57 thousand 142 shares to his father SM Nurul Alam Rizvi (entrepreneurial director of the company) and 51 lakh 42 thousand 858 shares to his mother Sultana Parveen Laki (general shareholder of the company). He will transfer the declared shares outside the trading system within the next 30 working days from last September 24.
Meanwhile, SM Mahbubul Alam, entrepreneurial director of Walton Hi-Tech Industries, has expressed interest in transferring 1 crore 45 lakh shares. Out of this, he will hand over 60 lakh 60 thousand shares to his daughter Nishat Tasnim Suchi, 60 lakh 60 thousand shares to his son Sadman Saqib Deepra and 23 lakh 80 thousand shares to his wife Zakia Sultana. Besides, he will transfer another 6 million shares to his wife Zakia Sultana.
He will transfer the declared shares outside the trading system within the next 30 working days from last September 23.
