Vladimir Zografski took 24th place in the ski jump competition at the small chance in Hinzenbach, Austria, part of the summer Grand Prix circuit.

The Bulgarian, who in 2023 triumphed as Grand Prix champion, made attempts of 83 and 82.5 meters, which brought him a total of 221.4 points.

The winner of the competition was the host representative from Austria, Daniel Chofenig, who finished with 270.4 points after jumping 93 and 93.5 meters.

The German Andreas Wellinger finished in second place with 256.4 points, and another Austrian, Jan Hörl, finished third with 250.7 points.

Today’s start in Hinzenbach was the seventh round out of a total of nine in the Grand Prix circuit, and for the Bulgarian it was the third start and the best achievement. In recent weeks, Zografski has been nursing an injury that prevented him from competing and denied him the opportunity to defend his trophy from last season.

The leader in the general classification is the Pole Pavel Vasek with 278 points, ahead of the Italian Alex Inzam with 273 points. Zografski is in 71st place with 8 points.

There is another start in the Austrian resort on Sunday, and the summer campaign ends on October 5 at the big chance in Klingenthal, Germany.
