Kany García kicked off her García Tour 2024 in Colombia, with a concert at the Movistar Arena in Bogotá on Thursday, September 26.

The Puerto Rican singer-songwriter, known for her lyrics that tell stories of love and heartbreak, celebrated her 42nd birthday the day before the event. All tickets for the concert in Bogotá quickly sold out, reflecting the high expectation and excitement of her fans.

“I say it wherever I go, wherever it is, I don’t care, because I believe that people have allowed me to say whatever I want, and even with the love that I usually feel in every country we go to, I feel it and I receive it, it impacts me and excites me. I was really born in Puerto Rico, but my heart and my second home, after my country, is Colombia (…) we started with five hundred people, people who believed from the beginning and today we have a full house here, I’m going to do whatever I want with these people,” the artist said during her performance.

“I love your smile, your eyes, and your body,” were Alejandro’s words when Kany asked him what he liked most about his partner, and this emotional action generated a standing ovation from the audience.

The concert at the Movistar Arena also featured performances from notable guest artists, such as Nanpa Básico, who joined García to perform Duelo, while Santiago Cruz sang Y si te quedas, ¿qué? and Para siempre with her. The surprise of the night was the appearance of Jorge Celedón, who performed the vallenato song Esta vida with the artist.
