A young woman from Flachgau was driving on the Schwaitl state road near Elsbethen in a very valuable and rare Jaguar XK120 from the 1950s. It is said that she was talking on her mobile phone. The 23-year-old Hungarian’s silver mid-range car crossed the middle of the road and crashed into the classic car, as reported by the Kronen Zeitung.
The Jaguar was driven by two Italians who had taken part in the Mille Miglia warm-up and were traveling from Fuschl to Mittersill.
Hundreds of thousands of euros in damage
Fortunately, both men were unhurt apart from a few scratches. But you will definitely remember this trip, because an XK120 can cost several hundred thousand euros.
