Government telecom company BSNL has introduced a new recharge plan. This is an affordable recharge plan, after the launch of which the tension between Jio and Airtel has increased. Actually, Jio and Airtel provide 1 GB data for 30 days for Rs 345. But BSNL is offering 1 GB data for 60 days for Rs 345. BSNL’s new plan may give tension to private telecom companies like Jio, Airtel and VI, because at present such a cheap recharge plan is not available.

BSNL’s new recharge plan has been introduced at a time when major telecom operators like Jio, Airtel and Vi have recently increased the price of mobile tariffs by an average of 15 percent. BSNL users increased rapidly
The good news for BSNL is that after Jio, Airtel and Vodafone-Idea recharges became expensive, 29.4 lakh new customers joined BSNL in July 2024. During the same period, there has been a decline in the number of customers of Jio, Airtel and Vi. If we look after July, Jio has lost 7,50,000 users. Similarly, Airtel lost 16.9 lakh users, while Vi had to lose 14.1 lakh users. BSNL is continuously improving its network. Besides, it is moving towards rolling out 5G network along with 4G.
