Speaking at a press conference to present this edition, the Minister Delegate in charge of Digital Transition and Administration Reform, Ghita Mezzour, indicated that the show will experience unprecedented enthusiasm this year with more from 130 countries represented, more than 1,500 exhibitors, 800 emerging companies and a forecast of more than 50,000 visitors.

This commitment, she underlined, reflects the confidence enjoyed by Morocco and its positioning as a regional digital hub, reinforced in this by the great potential of young Moroccan talents who are making a remarkable breakthrough in the digital ecosystem at home. internationally, support for the competitiveness of the Moroccan economy, and support for the private sector as a vector of development.

This exhibition makes it possible to strengthen Morocco’s position as a leader in the field of technology at the continental level, in accordance with the High Guidelines of His Majesty the King, she noted, noting that the 2024 edition will be marked by the organization on the sidelines of the “World Health Future” show, an event dedicated to the latest innovations in the field of health with the participation of the most important international startups specializing in digital health, the aim being to contribute to the development of this sector in Africa.

And to add that the 2024 edition also gives a large place to the different developments in AI by welcoming startups offering new solutions in this field with the aim of converging views on the development of policies capable of regulate its use in Africa.
