Zafirov to voters: Vote with emotion, but also with reason

Hundreds of socialists from all over the country gathered today on the lake in “Druzhba” to launch the campaign of the left unification for the upcoming early elections.

The motto of the association for the upcoming elections is “It’s time for decisions”. The coalition is the only political force that has already presented a program. It contains 100 solutions for accelerated development of Bulgaria. During the event, the leaders of all BSP lists – UNITED LEFT were presented.

“Vote with emotion, but also with reason, for the people, parties and politicians who have not betrayed their promises over the years. Let’s not allow more disgraceful groups to rule our country”, the chairman of BSP – UNITED LEFT Atanas Zafirov urged the Bulgarian voters. According to him, the left coalition wants the trust of the people, it wants to be a real political force and work for their interests. Finally, we are united and we can achieve it,” Zafirov declared and announced the march of the left to government,” he said and invited to the stage the deputy chairman of the BSP Christian Vigenin, who prepared the election platform of the unification, as well as the leaders of the parties in him, including President Georgi Parvanov.

“Bulgaria should be able to stand up and not sink into the madness it has been in for 12 years. It is the BSP – UNITED LEFT that is the alternative that will give new hope and self-confidence to the people”, stated the chairman of the PG of the BSP for Bulgaria”, Borislav Gutsanov, leader of the lists in Varna and Shumen. According to him, the program of the left gives a new perspective and will put an end to pedantry in the National Assembly. He thanked all coalition partners for their support and understanding of the need for unification at this historic moment for our country.

The second in the list of the left in Plovdiv – city Valeri Zhablyanov emphasized that the crisis in the country was caused by the inability of the politicians to realize the needs of the people and added: “We have the desire, the opportunity and the intellectual potential to fix this, let’s give them a way. Only in this way will the left take the place that has always belonged to it”.

The chairman of BSP – Sofia Ivan Takov categorically stated that another Bulgaria is possible – in which the state belongs to the people and not to the oligarchy. “A country that is founded on the principles of freedom, justice and solidarity. Bulgaria, in which there is a fair distribution of public resources and equal access to public goods for all”, he also stated.

With shouts of “Victory” and tumultuous cheers, the left began their march to winning the trust of the people and the governance of the country.
