From the National Agency for Cybersecurity a loan of 1.5 million

One and a half million euros to counter cyber attackswhich in recent years are increasingly sophisticated, targeted and constantly evolving: the financing for the CyberMetro project presented by the Metropolitan City of Turin was assigned byNational Cybersecurity Agencyas part of Notice 8 dedicated to interventions to strengthen the resilience of public administrations to cybercrime activities.
“Cyber ​​security has become a top priority for private and public individuals and organizations. – underlines the Metropolitan Deputy Mayor, Jacopo Suppocommenting with satisfaction on the awarding of the funding. The escalation of cyber attacks, which also affect our institution, requires a constant commitment of highly specialized personnel and of updated computer equipment and software to the evolution of the phenomenon. The fight against cybercrime serves to defend our IT infrastructures and guarantee security continuity and the quality of online services provided by our institution to external and internal users”.
The project financed by the National Cybersecurity Agency will develop along the three cornerstones of all digital transition processes:
– l’technological innovationthanks to the acquisition, development, integration and refunctionalization of technological infrastructuresto the supply of hardware devices and the acquisition of software solutions
– the organizational proceduresthrough the preparation and definition of risk management policy in the various fields and the definition of procedures for implementing countermeasures

– the training in e-learning modeaimed at internal staff, through online courses and simulations, but also at public administrations of the City territory mmetropolitan area of ​​Turinwho will be able to count on dedicated webinars.
