Yeonghonam provincial governors and members of the National Assembly pledged to unite Yeongnam and Honam to drive balanced development of the Republic of Korea. The Yeongnam and Honam Province Governors Cooperation Council (Chairman Park Wan-soo, Gyeongnam Province Governor) held a win-win cooperation meeting at the FKI (Federation of Korean Industries) Tower Conference Center in Seoul on the 30th, inviting eight Yeongnam Province and Honam province governors and local assembly members.

Meanwhile, the Yeonghonam Provinces and Provinces Governors Cooperation Conference was established in 1998 and is held every year to promote win-win development through mutual exchange and cooperation among the eight provinces and cities of Yeonghonam and to drive balanced national development.
