Saishwari made it a profitable deal. He has won Rs 9 lakh by becoming the ‘Sleep Champion’ in the third edition of Wakefit’s unique sleep internship contest. The competition encourages people to sleep 8 to 9 hours at night and take 20-minute power naps during the day. Patil was one of 12 ‘sleep interns’ who received a premium mattress to monitor their sleep. And a contactless sleep tracking device was given.

More than 10 lakh applications received

During the show, contestants also attended workshops conducted by sleep experts to improve their night’s sleep and improve their chances of becoming the winner.

Wakefit received more than 10 lakh applications in the three years of the show. It has hired 51 interns. At the same time, a stipend of Rs 63 lakh has been given.
