At the same time, the market capitalization of both stock exchanges decreased by 18 thousand 893 crores 82 lakh 90 thousand taka. This information was revealed on the basis of DSE’s weekly market review on Saturday (September 28).
According to sources, DSE’s main index DSEX fell by 96.14 points or 1.68 percent to 5,639 points during the week. Among other indices, the DSE-30 index fell by 41.51 points or 1.97 percent to 2,644 points, the DSE Shariah index by 4.13 points or 0.33 percent to 1,261 points and the DSMEX index (SME Index) by 16.56 points. Or 1.36 percent increased to 1 thousand 231 points.
On the last working day of the outgoing week, the market capitalization stood at 6 lakh 85 thousand 621 crore Tk 24 lakh 10 thousand. And on the last working day of the week before the farewell week, the market capitalization of DSE was Tk 6 lakh 95 thousand 571 crore 62 lakh. That is, the market capital has decreased by 9 thousand 950 crore 27 lakh 90 thousand taka in the space of a week.
3 thousand 396 crore 54 lakh taka were traded in Dhaka stock exchange in the last week. And in the week before the farewell week, 2 thousand 452 crores 34 lakh 60 thousand rupees were traded. That is, the transaction in DSE has increased by Tk 944 crore 19 lakh 40 thousand during the week.
A total of 396 shares and units of companies were traded on DSE in the outgoing week. Among the companies, 40 increased, 349 decreased and 7 remained unchanged. And 17 were not traded.
In Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE), the overall index of CSE CASPI decreased by 398.66 points or 2.46 percent to 15 thousand 793 points. Among other indices of CSE, CSE-30 index fell by 1.24 percent to 12,832 points, CSCX by 1.93 percent to 9,571 points, CSI index by 1.30 percent to 1,193 points and SESMEX (SME Index) by 1.73 percent. Decreased to 2 thousand 477 points.
On the last working day of the outgoing week, the market capitalization stood at Tk 7 lakh 20 thousand 37 crore 86 lakh. And on the last working day of the week before the farewell week, the market capitalization of CSE was Tk 7 lakh 28 thousand 981 crore 42 lakh. in money That is, the market capital has decreased by 8 thousand 943 crores 55 lakhs within a week.
In the outgoing week, 72 crore 60 lakh taka was traded in Chittagong Stock Exchange. And in the week before the farewell week, 42 crores 17 lakhs were traded. In other words, during the week, the transaction in CSE has increased by 30 crore 43 lakh taka.
A total of 327 companies’ shares and units were traded on the CSE during the outgoing week. Among the companies, 59 advanced, 255 declined and 13 were unchanged.
