Visa process to be simplified for foreign tourists: Home Affairs Advisor

The Home Affairs Advisor gave this assurance in a meeting with the delegation of Europe-Bangladesh Federation of Commerce and Industry (EBFCI) at the conference room of the Ministry of Home Affairs on Monday (September 30). The delegation of 26 members was led by Dr. Wali Tasar Uddin.

The advisor said that tourism is one of the most promising sectors of our country. In order to attract foreign tourists, the visa process will be simplified for them. If necessary, steps will be taken to change the policy in this regard by holding an inter-ministerial meeting.

Jahangir Alam Chowdhury said, non-resident Bangladeshis (NRB) are our wealth. They have an important role in the overall economic development of Bangladesh. This country belongs to all of us. Everyone should build this country together.

The advisor sought the cooperation of non-resident Bangladeshis to bring back the money smuggled abroad.

The advisor said, agriculture is the driving force of our economy. Bangladesh’s agriculture sector has seen the greatest improvement since independence.
