Basra Sports City Director, Lutfi Al-Jazairi, confirmed that preparations are underway to host the national team’s match with its Palestinian counterpart next month.

Al-Jazairi told the (INA), today, Sunday: “The responsible staff submit periodic reports after each match, especially international matches, to evaluate the organization and identify the strengths and weaknesses, with a focus on what needs to be strengthened or followed up.”
Al-Jazairi added, “The reports related to the match were submitted to the preparatory committee assigned by the Presidency of the Council of Ministers to manage the qualifying matches, and many aspects were discussed, including the organizational, service and security aspects, as discussions related to security took a large space, given the sensitivity of the match and the great emotion with which it was shown.” Surrounded by the confrontation with the Palestinian team.”
Al-Jazairi pointed out, “There is ongoing coordination with the Asian Football Confederation regarding what is and is not permitted during the match, and special instructions will be issued in this regard.” Regarding the service aspect, Al-Jazairi explained that the issue of tickets was the focus of discussion, especially after some problems occurred in previous matches, stressing that the security forces will work to ensure the better organization of the match, allowing fans to enter smoothly until the last moments before the match begins. “
