The AIADMK lost all subsequent elections, including the Lok Sabha elections, the rural local elections, the assembly elections and the urban elections. In this situation, there is a demand for the reinstatement of Sasikala and Dinakaran in the AIADMK.
In this context, the AIADMK held a consultative meeting of urban local government representatives near Periyakulam in Theni district.
The meeting was attended by District Secretary Syed Khan. The meeting passed a resolution urging the reinstatement of Sasikala in the AIADMK.
O. Panneer Selvam said after consulting with supporters that he would call the press and inform himself about the matter.
Former Minister RP Udayakumar, Theni District Secretary Syed Khan, Deputy Secretary Mukodai, Ramar and former Theni MP Parthiban were with O. Panneer Selvam at O. Panneer Selvam’s farm house in Periyakulam.
