From today, from October 1, the National Air Carrier of Azerbaijan AZAL introduces SİMA digital signature when purchasing air tickets online to Nakhchivan, Day.Az reported on Tuesday with reference to the press service of Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC.
The innovation is aimed at digitalization and increasing the level of transparency of the ticket purchasing process on this route.
Passengers wishing to purchase air tickets through the official website and mobile application of AZAL can only do so after confirming their identity using SİMA İmza. This system meets high security standards, and all operations are protected by modern technological solutions.
To use SİMA İmza, you must first download the SİMA application and register in it. This process will only take a few minutes. After this, passengers can easily and quickly purchase tickets for flights on the Baku-Nakhchivan-Baku route online. The entire identity verification process is fully integrated into the AZAL system. When purchasing a ticket on the website, passengers confirm their identity by scanning the QR code using SİMA İmza.
