He said this in an interview given to Japan’s state television NH in New York.

The chief adviser said Bangladesh is looking forward to assistance from Japan, its biggest donor, ‘at this critical time’.
He also noted that Japan’s cooperation is essential to help rebuild the economy of Bangladesh and consolidate democracy there.
