The National Emergency and Crisis Management Authority in the Emirates has warned that the tropical condition “Shaheen” will affect some areas of the east coast of the country, starting today, Sunday.

The authority’s official spokesman, Tariq Al-Amri, said: “We advise citizens, especially those living in the eastern coastal areas, to follow all the procedures and measures as announced by the relevant authorities at the local level.”
He added: “As a proactive measure and for the safety of members of the public, procedures and measures that will be followed during the continuation of the tropical condition will be announced in the affected areas, the most significant of which is the prohibition put on beaches and at sea. during the period of passing weather, and to prevent areas approaching valleys, torrent streams and low places.”
He continued: “We would like to assure everyone that the authorities concerned are very alert and prepared to deal with the coming tropical situation, and that the measures that will be taken are proactive and preventive. impact on the country’s regions. “
Afterwards, the spokesman of the National Meteorological Center in the Emirates, Muhammad Al-Abri, said: “From the afternoon and evening of Sunday, the extension of the tropical condition, especially the northeastern regions, will affect some regions of the country. Al Ain region, and the southern regions, and it extends to some central regions inside, where cumulonimbus clouds increase, accompanied by various rains.
He also asked “everyone to be careful and alert in such weather conditions and to stay away from valleys and dams in areas designated by the authorities concerned to avoid any undesirable events.”
