(24News) A person who ordered an iPhone killed the delivery boy instead of paying him as soon as he received the mobile phone.
According to the report of Indian media, the said incident happened in Chinhat city of Uttar Pradesh state, where the 30-year-old accused bought an iPhone worth one and a half lakh rupees online, and the delivery boy reached his house to deliver it, but instead of paying the money, the mobile phone was delivered. The caller killed the delivery boy himself, according to reports, the accused dumped the body of the deceased in the canal for which the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) was called.
According to DCP Shashank Singh, the accused Ganjanan had placed an order for a mobile phone from the online service Flipkart, for which he had chosen the option of paying the money after the mobile phone reached his specified address, according to authorities. 23-year-old Bharat Sahu reached the accused Ganjanan’s house with a mobile phone, then he along with his accomplices killed Sahu by slitting his throat while dumping the body in the Indira Canal.
According to reports, when Bharat Sahu did not return home for two days, his family filed a missing report on September 25. Akash’s friend was detained, who confessed to the crime, the body of the deceased has not been recovered from the canal, the search is on.
