According to the distribution industry on the 1st, Lotte Mart and Supermarket will hold the first pre-order sale of pickled cabbage and kimchi ingredients from this day to the 6th. According to the company, Lotte Mart and Supermarket have secured supplies through prior discussions with production centers in Haenam-gun, Jeollanam-do, Goesan-gun, North Chungcheong Province, and Pyeongchang and Yeongwol-gun, Gangwon-do since August. The price for 20 kg of pickled cabbage is 29,900 won for Haenam, 59,900 won for Pyeongchang, 35,900 won for Goesan, and 54,900 won for Yeongwol. Lotte Mart also sells kimchi seasoning and pickled vegetables in line with the easy kimchi trend. Pre-orders for freshly dried red peppers will be made in 2024, and free red pepper milling services will also be provided.
E-Mart will conduct pre-order sales of kimchi ingredients such as pickled cabbage for a week starting from the 25th. E-Mart recruited a pickling factory in Haenam that directly cultivates cabbage, and then contracted cultivation with farms in Hongcheon-gun, Gangwon-do, Mungyeong-si, Gyeongbuk, Yesan-gun, South Chungcheong Province, Muan-gun, Jeollanam-do, and Buan-gun, Jeollabuk-do. The price of pickled cabbage has not yet been determined. Homeplus will also begin pre-order sales of pickled cabbage and kimchi ingredients starting from the middle of this month.
