jpnn.comJAKARTA – A number of artists were appointed as members of the People’s Representative Council (DPR) for the 2024-2029 period, on Tuesday (1/10).
The list of artists who have passed to the legislature is contained in the Republic of Indonesia General Election Commission (KPU) Decree Number 1206 of 2024 concerning the Determination of Elected Candidates for Members of the Indonesian DPR in the 2024 Election.
Dozens of artists from the world of modeling, comedy, music and soap operas came to Senayan.
They are among the 580 elected DPR members from 8 political parties who are members of the legislative body for the 2024-2029 period.
From dangdut circles there is Ashraff Abu who represents Golkar for the Central Java electoral district X, and Iyeth Bustami who represents PKB from Riau.
From other music worlds there are Ahmad Dhani, Mulan Jameela, Melly Goeslaw, Once Mekel, Nafa Urbach, and Pasha Ungu.
Then, from the world of models and soap operas there are Arzeti Bilbina, Dede Yusuf, Dina Lorenza, Dessy Ratnasari, Nurul Arifin, Nico Siahaan, Rachel Maryam.
Next there are Verrell Bramasta, Tommy Kurniawan, Uya Kuya, Primus Yustisio, and Rieke Dyah Pitaloka.
