The beloved actor Nikos Iliopoulos has passed away, who was a close friend of Spyros Bibilas, with the latter announcing the sad news of his death through social media.
«A beloved friend has left us, my dear classmate from the Drama School of the Piraios Association, the sensitive actor Nikos Iliopoulos,» wrote Spyros Bibilas in the post.
«We spent our early years performing together at the ASCETIC THEATER and on television in the last series “The Battle of the Storks,” where the earthquake of ’81 found us on set.

«Since then, he became a successful radio producer for ERT, where his shows left a mark as he invited all the greats of music and theater,» he added.
«In the ERT studios, I got to know from close quarters in his shows Kaiti Grey, Rita, Giovana, Kleio Denardou, Tasso Kavvadia, etc.
«Later, he began to write and wrote wonderful novels set against the backdrop of the destruction of Minor Asia. After his retirement, he successfully engaged with the amateur theater groups of Megara that he loved, where he lived and hailed from.»
