Actress and entrepreneur Gwyneth Paltrow celebrated her sixth wedding anniversary with her husband, producer and screenwriter Brad Falchuk, by sharing an intimate photograph on Instagram on Sunday, September 29.
The image shows the couple kissing on a paddle board in a lake, with Paltrow wearing a black bikini and Falchuk in white swim shorts.
The post was accompanied by a simple “6” as a caption, referencing the years since their marriage.
Paltrow, who is 52 years old, and Falchuk, who is 53, began their relationship in August 2014 and married on September 29, 2018 in a private ceremony in the Hamptons, New York, with 70 guests.
The wedding was described on the Goop website, Paltrow’s lifestyle company, as an event with “perfect weather, superlative dinner, and a dance party for the ages.”
The couple met in 2010 when Gwyneth Paltrow appeared on the musical television series Glee, co-created and produced by Brad Falchuk.
However, it was not until 2014, after her separation from first husband Chris Martin, that their relationship began to develop. They made their relationship public in April 2015.
Merging their families has presented challenges for the couple. Paltrow has two children, Apple, 20, and Moses, 18, with her ex-husband, Coldplay’s singer Chris Martin.
On his side, Falchuk has two children, Isabella, 20, and Brody, 17, from his previous marriage to Suzanne Bukinik, from which he divorced in 2013 after approximately 11 years of marriage.
In an exclusive interview with People in 2023, the Iron Man star described the process of merging families as “difficult and non-intuitive,” but added that it is now “one of the things that brings me the most happiness in my life.”
Recently, the couple was spotted in Paris during Fashion Week, walking hand in hand and coordinating their outfits with blue jeans and dark sunglasses.
Paltrow wore a G. Label by Goop ensemble, which included a coat and turtleneck, combined with a black leather crossbody bag and white sneakers. On the other hand, Falchuk wore a long beige coat, a white t-shirt, and brown shoes.
“I’m going to keep doing a bit here and there, but this really takes almost all my time. I had an amazing acting career, but I had this deep passion for producing content and making great products and curating things,” she confessed to Today in 2017.
Professionally, Gwyneth Paltrow is returning to acting after a hiatus during which she focused on her lifestyle brand, Goop. She has joined the cast of the upcoming movie by Josh Safdie, Marty Supreme, starring Timothée Chalamet.
This will be her first major role since her appearance in Avengers: Endgame in 2019. During her break, she only participated in minor roles, such as voicing a character in an episode of American Horror Stories in 2023 and an uncredited cameo in the biopic She Said in 2022.

The actress, who turned 52 last Friday, expressed her gratitude for having found love again at a mature age.
In an interview with Heat! magazine two years after her wedding, Paltrow shared: “It was wonderful to fall in love again at a mature age. It was a wonderful surprise and I didn’t necessarily think it would happen to me.”
