jpnn.comPEKANBARU – In commemoration of Pancasila Sanctity Day, the Riau Regional Police held a ceremony in the courtyard of the Riau Regional Police Headquarters, Tuesday (1/9).
Riau Regional Police Chief, Inspector General Mohammad Iqbal said that Pancasila is the basis of all police duties.
Iqbal explained that the principles in Pancasila, especially the first and third principles.
“It is very relevant to the National Police’s duties in maintaining security and public order and maintaining national unity and unity,” said Inspector General Iqbal.
He also emphasized the importance of upholding religious values in carrying out his duties.
In the context of simultaneous regional elections, Iqbal invited all parties to compete in a healthy manner and uphold democratic values.
“It’s normal to be different, but we have to stay united. “You can fight by conveying your vision and mission, intellectual war, but don’t use bad things, hoaxes, let alone violence,” stressed Iqbal.
For this reason, Inspector General Iqbal invited the entire community to continue to uphold the values of Pancasila.
