The truck was located on the night of Friday, September 27 in front of a taqueria, located on Calzada Heroico Colegio Militar, at the entrance of the Alturas del Sur subdivision, in Culiacán.

According to the first reports, there were at least five bodies located inside the truck. Until now, his identity is unknown.
Elements of the State Preventive Police and the Mexican Army arrived at the scene and cordoned off the area. Likewise, they closed the Calzada Heroico Colegio Miliar to carry out the corresponding procedures.
Meanwhile, experts from the Attorney General’s Office of the State of Sinaloa decided to transfer the truck, along with the bodies, to the Forensic Medical Service (Semefo), where the pertinent investigations will be carried out.

This discovery occurs within the framework of the visit of the president of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, to Sinaloa, where he led an event to inaugurate an irrigation area at the Santa María dam. AMLO was accompanied by the president-elect, Claudia Sheinbaum, and the state governor, Rubén Rocha Moya.
During the event, López Obrador assured that he will continue with support in Sinaloa to return tranquility to the state, which has been hit by violence due to clashes between the factions of ‘Los Chapitos’ and ‘La Mayiza’.
At the moment, state authorities have not commented on the discovery of the truck.
