The Hamas movement mourned the leader in its ranks and a member of the movement’s leadership abroad, Fatah Sharif Abu Al-Amin, who was killed this morning in an Israeli bombing that targeted his home in the Al-Bass camp in southern Lebanon.

In turn, the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine mourned two of its leaders who were killed in an Israeli raid on the Al-Kula area in Beirut.

The movement’s statement stated that the leaders concerned with the obituary are: “Commander Muhammad Abdel-Al (Abu Ghazi), a member of the Front’s political bureau and head of the military security department, Commander Imad Odeh (Abu Ziyad), a member of the Front’s military department and its military commander in Lebanon, and the hero Abdel-Rahman Abdel-Al.” .

The Front said in a statement: “With greater pride and honor, the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine mourns its martyrs who rose on the path to liberating Palestine at dawn today, Monday, September 30, 2024, following a treacherous assassination operation carried out by Israeli aircraft in the Al-Kula area in the Lebanese capital, Beirut.”

The statement added: “As the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine bids farewell to its heroic martyred leaders, it pledges to them and to all the martyrs of our people and our nation, that it will continue the path of struggle and resistance until the occupation is wiped out, no matter how long it takes and no matter how great the sacrifices are.”

For the first time, Israel bombed the Lebanese capital, Beirut, since the beginning of the Israeli war on Hezbollah. Lebanese media reported that “two people were killed and a number of wounded, including children, in the Israeli raid that targeted a residential apartment in the Al-Kula area in Beirut.”
