Actress Kim Tae-ri revealed that she has been studying sound since 2021 for the drama ‘Jungnyeon’.
Kim Tae-ri and Shin Ye-eun, the main characters of the tvN drama ‘Jungnyeon’, appeared on the web entertainment show ‘Salon Drip 2’, which was released through YouTube channel ‘Theo’ on the afternoon of the 1st.
Kim Tae-ri and Shin Ye-eun revealed that they had been preparing for a long time for the drama ‘Jeongnyeon’, which is based on Yeoseong Gukgeuk after the Korean War in the 1950s. In particular, Kim Tae-ri, who plays the main character Yoon Jeong-nyeon, began studying pansori in 2021, and later actors began learning pansori as they were cast. Kim Tae-ri said that she had no difficulties in taking on the pansori challenge and said, “I don’t think I know everything until I try it. I like learning and enjoy it.”
On the other hand, Shin Ye-eun said that although she liked learning, she was worried about appearing in ‘Jungnyeon’. Shin Ye-eun confessed that she was more worried about ‘Can I do sound?’ rather than about her work, and that “sound is not something that can be solved in a short period of time, and it’s not within the scope of what I can do well even if I work hard.”
However, Shin Ye-eun, who took on the challenge of sound for her work ‘Jeongnyeon’, revealed that she studied sound for a year. Kim Tae-ri and Shin Ye-eun said, “It brings tears to my eyes,” and said that they had become like comrades who had suffered together. Kim Tae-ri added, “Ye-eun and I had a lot of responsibility for sound and dance, and we had a lot of time to practice together and see each other’s efforts.”
