APPIAN/MISSIAN. Pro Eppan continues its campaign to show the increasingly precarious situation of various properties intended for school buildings or for the practice of sports for dozens of local associations.
After the complaints about the São Paulo school, now there are those about infiltrations and humidity in the training room of the Yoseikan Budo association, inside the Raiffeisenhalle, the local sports hall. A situation which, objectively, cannot be defined as unsustainable but we are certainly not faced with ideal venues for practicing sports.
Pro Eppan: «The showers on the ice rink are also closed: perhaps the leak comes from there»
At the moment it is not yet clear what the problem is but the Pro Eppan civic list hypothesizes that the showers on the ice rink, which have been temporarily closed, may be involved. «While new projects are being started, existing properties are starting to feel the passage of time. We received photos of the training room of the local Yoseikan Budo team at the Raiffeisenhalle. Unfortunately, humidity has been penetrating into rooms for a long time and causing significant damage. The council has been informed on several occasions but no appropriate action has been taken so far. Now even the showers on the ice rink have been closed.”
The mayor: «The fault was found: it was caused by the showers»
Mayor Wilfried Trettl assures local athletes: «I had our employees open the compartment and we found rust, due to a leak of hot water from the showers. We took action immediately to resolve the fault.”
