The Azerbaijan State Academic Philharmonic named after Muslim Magomayev hosted another concert within the framework of XVI International Music Festival named after Uzeyir Hajibeylireports Day.Az.
At the opening of the evening, the Ambassador of Brazil to Azerbaijan Manuel Montenegro noted the importance of the festival in promoting creativity and unity of the peoples of the world.
Under the direction of the conductor Miguel Campos Neto (Brazil) accompanied by the Symphony Orchestra of the Azerbaijan State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater (artistic director and chief conductor – Honored Artist of the Republic of Azerbaijan Eyub Guliyev) and choir (choirmaster Sevil Gadzhieva) soloists – Honored Artists of Azerbaijan Farid Aliyev (tenor) and Ilakha Efendieva (soprano) presented works G. Malchera, K. Gomez, E. Villa-Lobosa, F . Schubert, A. Dadasheva and M. Campos.
Let us remind you that from September 18 to 28, on the occasion of National Music Day, the XVI International Music Festival named after Uzeyir Hajibeyli, organized by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and the Ministry of Culture of Azerbaijan, is being held. Within the framework of the festival, concerts, performances, exhibitions, scientific conferences and master classes are held, films are presented in Baku, Shusha, Ganja, Lankaran, Gabala, Nakhchivan and Shamkir, and various events are organized in cultural centers operating in foreign countries.
