Four people were detained during a specialized police operation in the Pernik region, the Regional Directorate (OD) of the Ministry of the Interior announced.
During the action carried out yesterday, eight pawnshops and companies for quick loans, six risky objects where it is assumed that trade in electoral votes is carried out, as well as five points for ferrous and non-ferrous metals were checked. Six car morgues, 15 drinking and entertainment establishments, 176 motor vehicles and eight criminally proven persons were also checked.
The regional police specify that four warning protocols have been drawn up under Art. 65 of the Law on the Interior. Four fast-track productions have also been started. Four people were detained for a period of up to 24 hours – three for possession of narcotic substances and one for driving a car after using drugs.
The increased control will continue throughout the month of October, the police added.
The police in Pernik appeals to citizens to notify the Ministry of Internal Affairs if they notice a violation, not only through social networks, but also through the institution’s official correspondence emails – [email protected] and [email protected]. Through them, they will receive feedback on the measures taken by the law enforcement authorities.
