Michael Ballack loves influencer Sophia Schneiderhan. Now the ex-footballer is commenting on reports about his relationship.
Michael Ballack has been dating the influencer Sophia Schneiderhan, who is 24 years his junior, since 2022. Now they visited the Oktoberfest in Munich together, as could be seen in a clip on the TikTok platform. Rumors had been circulating about Ballack and his partner, which the ex-soccer star is now commenting on.
“Current media reports have forced me to make the following clarification: My partner Sophia is neither my late son’s ex-girlfriend, nor was she friends with him,” the 48-year-old told the German Press Agency. “We will take legal action against these falsehoods and ask that our privacy be respected.” He also wrote this in an Instagram post with a photo of the couple.
The former national team captain and his girlfriend rarely appear in public together. Schneiderhan occasionally shares photos of the couple on her Instagram account, for example at the beginning of September on Sylt or on New Year’s Day. Before their Oktoberfest visit, they attended a reception together in Hamburg in April.
Ballack’s son Emilio died in an accident in August 2021 at the age of 18. Michael Ballack has two other sons with his ex-wife Simone, Louis and Jordi.
