Matheus Nunesmidfielder Manchester Citywas arrested last September 8th in Madrid around 05:30 in the morning at the La Riviera nightclub. According to the details reported by the newspaper “El Mundo”, the Portuguese footballer was taken by police officers to the Arganzuela police station to collect his testimony regarding the accusation of having phone stolen to a 58-year-old man who had attempted to taking a photo of him without permission in the bathrooms.
After a few hours Matheus Nunes was released and is now awaiting trial. Five days later, on 14 September, he played in Manchester City’s 2–1 win against Brentford.
