Province of Settat: Launch and inauguration of several projects on the occasion of Independence Day

These projects were inaugurated or launched by the governor of the province of Settat, Ibrahim Abou Zaid on the occasion of the 47th anniversary of the Green March and the 67th anniversary of Independence Day.

Thus, in the commune of Amrizik, the governor of the province kicked off work to widen and strengthen the provincial road N 3619 linking the communes of Amrizik and Nkhila over a length of 12 km with a budget of 13.267 million dirhams. The aim is to guarantee the fluidity of road traffic in these two municipalities and to open up this area whose population is estimated at nearly 40 thousand inhabitants.

In a statement to M24, the MAP continuous news channel, the president of the commune of Amrizik Hajiba Aboudou stressed that the road linking the communes of Amrizik and Nkhila towards the town of Khouribga which will be expanded and strengthened thanks to the efforts of local authorities, will help drive a new development dynamic in the two municipalities as well as neighboring communities.

As part of efforts aimed at reducing territorial and social disparities in the rural world, work was also launched to resurface provincial road 5303 linking the town of El Borouj to the province of Khouribga over a length of 28 KM with a budget of 6 million dirhams.

On this occasion, the start was also given to the work to complete the construction of provincial road 3609 linking the communes of Al Haouza and Sidi El Aidi over a length of 12 KM with an overall budget of 11,213 million dirhams.

In the town of Settat, the governor of the province kicked off construction work on road N 3624 linking the town of Settat and the communes of Mzamza Sud and Ouled Sghir over a length of 8 KM with an envelope budget of 8.729 million dirhams.

In this regard, the provincial director of equipment Jamal Boualem indicated, in a similar statement, that this road project is part of the program to reduce territorial and social disparities in the province of Settat and the program of road maintenance which covers nearly 70 KM with a total budget of 60 million dirhams.

These projects, which are in the finalization phase, concern 11 rural communes in the province, he added, noting that these projects required a budget of 309 million dirhams for the completion of nearly 340 KM.

To strengthen infrastructure and basic health equipment, a birth center was inaugurated in the Ras Al Ain commune which covers an area of ​​340 m2 with a budget of nearly 1.361 million of dirhams, in addition to the inauguration of the orientation center for people with disabilities, carried out as part of a partnership between the National Initiative for Human Development (INDH) and national assistance. The aim is to improve the schooling conditions of children with disabilities and to bring social assistance services closer to these children.

In the town of El Borouj, Mr. Abou Zaid kicked off construction work on a center for homeless people over an area of ​​157 m2 with a budget of 1.069 million dirhams. Likewise, a new hemodialysis center was inaugurated in El Brouj and an ambulance was handed over to the “Hanane Dar AL Oumouma” Association.

In this regard, the provincial director of health in Settat, Doctor Ait El Khadir underlined, in a statement to M24, that the two inaugurated projects are of capital importance to bring closer and improve services to the rural world and alleviate the constant pressure growing in the provincial hospital of Settat.

To bring administrative services closer to citizens, the governor of the province inaugurated the new headquarters of the Pashalik Al Ouled and the headquarters of the Krakra Ouled Amer circle in the town of El Borouj and launched public lighting works at the level of the entrance to the town of El Borouj with a budget of nearly 2.748 million dirhams.
