Dozens of Israeli fighter jets launched a massive attack on Hodeidah Governorate in Yemen, killing and wounding dozens.
The Yemeni Ministry of Health announced, “4 people were killed and 29 others were injured, in a preliminary toll of the Israeli bombing on Hodeidah Governorate.”
The Hebrew newspaper “Yedioth Ahronoth” reported on Sunday, “Israeli aircraft launched raids on the port of Hodeidah in Yemen.”
Al-Masirah satellite channel, affiliated with the Yemeni Ansar Allah-Houthi group, said: “Israeli aggression targets the city of Hodeidah.”
The Israeli Broadcasting Authority also quoted a security official as saying that “the Israeli army’s bombing of targets in Yemen involved dozens of Israeli aircraft.”
The radio confirmed that “the Israeli targets were concentrated in the cities of Ras Issa and Hodeidah, and they belong to civilian targets used for military purposes.”
According to local sources, “The bombing targeted more than 10 air strikes on the ports of Hodeidah and Ras Issa and the Al-Hali and Ras Kutheeb electricity stations. As a result of the bombing, fuel tanks caught fire in Hodeidah port and thick clouds of smoke rose.”
Abdullah Al-Naimi, a member of the political bureau of the Yemeni “Ansar Allah” group, said that “the assassination of the Secretary-General of the Lebanese Hezbollah, Hassan Nasrallah, is a “major” event that the region has witnessed these days.”
He pointed out to Sputnik Radio, “The ballistic missile that was launched from Yemen reflects the state of turmoil that the Yemeni people are experiencing as a result of this crime committed by the enemy against one of the most important leaders and mujahideen of the Islamic nation.”
Al-Naimi explained that “the scene in the region will change,” considering that “this tragedy has caused a major shift in the Arab mentality and in the axis of resistance in general,” noting that “there is another form of engagement in confronting Israel,” stressing that “the movement will not hesitate.” About making efforts to support the resistance and avenge the master of the resistance.”
