These scammers have committed fraud of up to Rs 1 crore. 20 thousand SIM cards have been sold by the accused, these were being sold to the accused not only in India but all over the world. Scammers from China, Thailand, Myanmar, Vietnam and Malaysia were also involved in this and this gang used to provide them Indian SIM cards. Describing this gang, the police said that fraud was carried out with its help. Police said that we have recovered 1,816 SIM cards, 2 check books, 5 mobile phones and 2 biometric devices from the accused.

These SIM cards were used in different ways. People were given fake lures by visiting their homes. It was said that a government scheme is running and they will have to provide ID. By taking the ID, a SIM card was issued in their name. Then these SIM cards were used for fraud. This caused huge loss to the people. Also, by fooling people, information up to their bank details was obtained. This was being done to avoid all this.

This gang also goes to people’s homes and gives mention of free ration. Ration card names were also taken from people, their ID and biometric samples were taken. People were cheated only by taking the help of all these.
