Ukraine-Russia second round of talks complete; ‘Special corridor’ for civilians to escape

The second round of peace talks between Ukraine and Russia has been completed. The meeting has a very helpful decision for Indian students. It was agreed to set up a special corridor for the common people to escape. This decision is very helpful for the students who are stuck in Sumi and Kharkiv. Neither country is ready for a ceasefire.

Meanwhile, Russian President Vladimir Putin said the war would continue. The Ukrainians and the Russians are one people. Putin said they were facing the Nazis.

Many Indian students are still trapped in Sumi and Kharkiv. Efforts to rescue them are in progress. Sumi students told MediaOne that they were in great distress as they had run out of food and water.
