The board of directors of Apex Footwear Limited, a listed company in the tannery sector of the capital market, has declared a 45 percent dividend for the shareholders. Out of this 35 percent is cash and 10 percent bonus dividend. As a result common shareholders will get a cash dividend of Rs 3.50 against each share worth Rs 10.
This dividend has been declared for the shareholders after reviewing the audited financial report for the financial year ended June 30, 2024.
On Tuesday (October 1), this information was revealed by Dhaka and Chittagong Stock Exchange (DSE-CSE).
This decision regarding the dividend was taken after reviewing and approving the audited financial report of the last financial year in the board meeting of the companies held earlier on Monday (September 30).
The annual general meeting (AGM) of the company will be held on November 27 at 11 am on the digital platform for approval of the declared dividend by consensus of the shareholders. And the record date for distribution of the declared dividend to the shareholders has been set at 22 October.
The company’s consolidated earnings per share (EPS) for the financial year ended June 30, 2024 stood at Tk 12.34. The profit per share of the company was Rs 11.69 in the corresponding period of the previous financial year.
Meanwhile, the company’s net operating cash flow per share (NOCFPS) for the financial year ended at Tk 182.55. The company’s NOCFPS was Rs.24.75 in the corresponding period of the previous financial year.
Consolidated Net Asset Value per Share (NAVPS) of the company stood at Rs 474.37 during the reporting period.
In view of this corporate announcement, there will be no price limit for the trading of shares of the company on this day.
