As part of the XVI International Music Festival named after Uzeyir Hajibeyli, the Ganja State Philharmonic named after Fikret Amirov held another concert from the series “From Baku to Ganja,” the press service of the Philharmonic told Day.Az.
People’s Artist performed at the evening of classical music, organized jointly by the Ganja State Philharmonic and the Azerbaijan State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater Sevinj IbragimovaHonored Artist Kamalya TaghizadehPhilharmonic soloists Rustam Jafarov, Elmir Pishnamazzade, Vasif Bayramovsoloist of the Opera and Ballet Theater Gunel Gadzhieva. Works by national classics Uzeyir Hajibeyli and Maestro Niyazi, as well as Charles Gounod, were presented.

Let us remind you that from September 18 to 28, on the occasion of National Music Day, the XVI International Music Festival named after Uzeyir Hajibeyli, organized by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and the Ministry of Culture of Azerbaijan, is being held. Within the framework of the festival, concerts, performances, exhibitions, scientific conferences and master classes are held, films are presented in Baku, Shusha, Ganja, Lankaran, Gabala, Nakhchivan and Shamkir, and various events are organized in cultural centers operating in foreign countries.
