Rising tensions in the Middle East, Pakistan’s demand for peace and conflict resolution

(Anwar Abbas) Expressing deep concern over the growing tension in the Middle East, Pakistan has demanded immediate de-escalation and resolution of conflicts.

Deeply concerned about the escalating tensions in the Middle East, urge all parties to prioritize peace, Israel’s continued violations of international law and the UN Charter, Israeli actions have resulted in a serious humanitarian crisis. Israel has threatened regional peace and security, the recent attack on Lebanon has intensified tensions, the attacks are affecting the lives of innocent civilians.

The spokesperson of the Foreign Office added that the people of Palestine, Lebanon and the region deserve to live free from fear and violence. The international community should play a role in reducing tension. To maintain peace and security in the region, Pakistan reiterates its demand to the Security Council to protect Lebanon’s sovereignty and end the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

Mumtaz Zahra Baloch said that Pakistan has consistently advocated the two-state solution, the two-state solution is the guarantor of lasting peace in the Middle East along with the Palestinian issue.
