The band will perform at DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai on 18, 19 and 21 January. Hotels around it are charging up to Rs 5 lakh for three nights. Usually, on the arrival of New Year, hotel fares go up to this level. According to media reports, all the five star hotels around DY Patil Stadium are fully booked for January 18, 19 and 21. According to MakeMyTrip, there are no rooms available at Courtyard by Marriott located near the stadium and Taj Vivanta located in Vashi. Coldplay had earlier announced to perform two shows in Mumbai. But the tickets for this live concert on BookMyShow were sold out within minutes. Due to the rush for tickets, Coldplay had to announce a third show for 21 January.

According to media reports, a hotel named Fortune Select Exotica in Vashi is charging Rs 2.45 lakh for a room for three nights between January 17 and 20. This hotel is part of the ITC Hotel Group. Similarly, Fern Residency, located at some distance from DY Stadium, is charging Rs 2 lakh as rent for three nights. Regenza by Tunga hotel located in Vashi is charging Rs 4.45 lakh for three nights. Generally the nightly fare in these hotels ranges between ₹7,000 to ₹30,000.
