They were the dream couple of the hit scene. Karsten Walter and Marina Marx have been separated for a year now – but are still connected to each other.
“Sometimes you have to let go to hold on to love,” wrote Karsten Walter and Marina Marx about a black-and-white couple photo on Instagram. With these words, the two musicians announced their separation in October 2023. “We have been walking together since 2018 – first as friends, then as partners, and always as soul mates,” the statement continued at the time: “We both mutually decided to go ‘separate’ ways as lovers.”
Almost a year has passed since then. But Karsten Walter and Marina Marx still have a lot in common, not just professionally. They are still on stage together, performing their song “Fahr to Hölle” together. But they are still connected to each other privately. “We are definitely in more contact again at the moment,” reveals Karsten Walter in an interview with RTL.
“We talk on the phone regularly, we support each other in all matters, we are always there for each other and I don’t think there is anyone who understands me as well as she does,” the pop singer continued. “A part of me will always love her and she will always have a special place in my heart.” RTL speaks of a possible love comeback, but the ex-Fireheart star does not comment on it.
A few months later the couple got engaged. But instead of a wedding, there was a separation last year. Now, a year later, fans are hoping for a love comeback.
