The Asian Football Confederation announced on Tuesday the players nominated for the Best Asian Player Award for 2023-2024.
The list of three players nominated for the Best Asian Player Award for the 2023-2024 season included the presence of the stars of Jordan and Qatar, after their contribution to their country reaching the Asian Cup final.
Jordanian Yazan Al-Naimat, South Korean Seol Yang-woo, and Qatari Ayman Afif were all nominated for the Best Asian Player of the Year award.
As for the candidates for the Best Asian Player of the Year award in 2023, there were Australian Courtney Finn, Japanese Keiko Seki, and South Korean Kim Hee Ri.
It is noteworthy that the top scorer in the last 2024 Asian Cup was Akram Afif, the star of the Qatar national team, with 8 goals, who contributed to his country winning the title, while Yazan Al-Naimat scored 4 goals in the tournament.
