MDA medics, Benny Yosef and Peniel Buskila, said: “We arrived at the scene of the accident and saw the motorcyclist lying unconscious and with severe injuries to his body. “He was without a pulse and without breathing and we immediately started performing resuscitation operations on him, which included massages and resuscitation, we took him to an intensive care unit and evacuated him to the hospital while continuing to perform resuscitation operations when his condition was critical.”

Police have opened an investigation into the circumstances of the serious car accident, involving a truck and a motorcycle on Road 1 near the Ben Shemen interchange heading east.

“The motorcyclist, whose identity is not yet known, is being evacuated by medical personnel in critical condition to Sheba Tel Hashomer Hospital,” the police statement said. “Traffic inspectors began an investigation, collecting findings from the scene and means of documentation, to clarify the circumstances of the accident.”
