He Head of Government, Martí Batres headed the latest installment of “Wellness for Girls and Boys, My Scholarship to Start” of the 2024-2025 school year, more than 15 thousand students who join public basic education schools in the Mexico City.
“The children who are enrolling in preschool in this cycle will receive a scholarship for three years of preschool, six years of primary school, three years of secondary school and three years of high school; In other words, they are guaranteed the scholarship for the next 15 years,” said the president.
In the company of mothers and fathers, as well as students, the local leader reiterated that the beneficiaries who received their physical card will also receive the annual financial support corresponding to the Program “Uniforms and School Supplies” and the first administration of the “Wellbeing for Girls and Boys, My Scholarship to Start” Program for the month of September.

In this way, he explained, the beneficiaries will have 1,570 pesos at the preschool level, 1,750 for primary school, 1,830 for secondary school and 1,750 for Multiple Care Centers (CAM).

In this first phase of deliveries for the 2024-2025 school year, more than 62 thousand new beneficiaries of the educational programs were integrated: “Wellbeing for Girls and Boys, My Scholarship to Start”, “The School is Ours – Best School”, “Goes Safe” and “Uniforms and School Supplies.”

“All this has a social and economic function, because it helps people, it helps their income; but it also has an educational function, because it helps children not leave school; and it has a preventive function, because it helps adolescents not fall into groups that have antisocial behavior that are on the streets,” said Martí Batres.
